THE JOB:

As the curator of our Banquet bar experience with MGM National Harbor, you'll offer a refined knowledge of spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options while ensuring the bar remains a welcoming and immaculate space. By listening, connecting, and responding with care, youll create lasting impressions and memories that resonate well beyond the guest experience with us.

THE SCHEDULE:

This is an on-call position. Days and Hours are not guaranteed, however, you can expect 15-35 hours weekly based on business needs.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
• Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
• Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
• Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2 years plus of prior bartending experience is preferred but not required

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
