Creation Museum Housekeeping Seasonal

Seasonal Housekeeping team members are responsible for creating the best experience possible for our Creation Museum guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about Answers in Genesis and serving others, enthusiastic, energetic, an excellent multi-tasker, and able and willing to fill or change positions quickly. This position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals by working on a large team in a God-honoring fashion to achieve great results while having fun along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
• Ensure the day-to-day cleanliness of the attraction and grounds
• Remove and dispose of trash/recyclables and clean bins
• Clean floors, pavement, doors, windows, and walls
• Clean restrooms and water fountain areas throughout the attraction
• Wash, dry and deliver laundry as needed
• Perform as responsibilities with a safety-first mindset
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
• Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests
• Organizational skills: rotation of date sensitive inventory and cleaning
• Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift.
• Perform duties in varied temperature and weather conditions throughout the attraction (e.g., extreme heat/cold, wind, rain, snow)
• Bend and lift between 50 to 75 pounds.
