Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down banquet rooms for weddings, private events, corporate functions, and special occasions according to event specifications and layout diagrams
- Transport, lift, and position tables, chairs, linens, decor, AV equipment, and other event materials safely and efficiently
- Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and visually polished before guest arrival
- Safely handle fragile items such as glassware, dishware, and decorative pieces
- Maintain storage and equipment areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Collaborate with banquet captains, culinary staff, and service teams to support seamless event execution and timelines
- Respond quickly and professionally to last-minute changes or special requests
- Monitor and assist in maintaining inventory of banquet equipment and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and company standards throughout the setup, event, and breakdown process
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or event leadership
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must wear non-slip footwear (not provided)
- Must be fluent in English (Spanish is a plus!)
- Must have open availability , including evenings, weekends, holidays , and occasional early mornings
- Prior hospitality, event setup, or manual labor experience is helpfulbut not required. Were happy to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel , and move for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions (heat, humidity, cold, etc.)
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 75 lbs
- Able to climb stairs, use ladders , and move large items through tight spaces
- Strong manual dexterity , vision , hearing , and verbal communication
- Exposure to fresh and raw food products , steam , smoke , and cleaning agents
