We are currently seeking an exceptional Sommelier/Wine Assistant to play a pivotal role in developing our beverage program. We are in search of an individual who possesses a profound passion for wine, an impeccable palate, and a dedication to curating an outstanding wine selection that complements our culinary vision.
The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of wine pairing, and a commitment to fostering a culture of enthusiasm and expertise within our establishment. We are seeking someone who will embody strong sales and decision-making skills while being creative, curious, and committed to cultivating an atmosphere of positivity and professionalism. The Sommelier/Wine Assistant is:
Experienced and passionate, at least 2 years of professional wine experience in an upscale restaurant
Certified by the Guild of Master Sommeliers or Level 3 Certification from WSET
Guest focused with dedication to providing personalized and attentive service
Fully understanding wines from various regions, varietals, and vintages
Driven and professional with a passion for leading, educating and training staff
Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing job duties with good communication skills
