Food Runner

The Food Runner acts as a liaison between the kitchen and dining area, delivering food orders promptly and ensuring that all dishes are presented correctly. This role supports servers and kitchen staff by facilitating smooth service and enhancing the guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Promptly deliver food from the kitchen to guests in the dining area.
Ensure all orders are correct, complete, and aesthetically presented.
Communicate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing and resetting tables.
Handle guest requests or concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
Restock stations with necessary supplies (napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.).
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry heavy trays.

Work Environment:
Fast-paced restaurant, bar.
Requires evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on the establishments hours.
