Housekeeper
The Housekeeper position completes a wide variety of cleaning and hospitality duties at the Deadhorse Aviation Center (DAC) which functions as a resident and transient housing facility . The housekeeper is an essential part of the hospitality experience we provide our customers .
Fairweather, LLC, has strategically designed the DAC to provide oil companies and their suppliers with a safe and efficient aviation command center to successfully manage onshore operations and Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) exploration and production activities on the Arctic Ocean and Beaufort Sea. Located at the FAA-approved Deadhorse A viation Center , the DAC offers secure access to the taxiway and runway, as well as access roads and the ocean.
Accommodations for up to 48 persons are available for leasing tenants' staff and transient personnel, as well as Fairweather Deadhorse Aviation Center “DAC” employees. Amenities include private baths and satellite TV, along with a 48 -seat dining facility, exercise room, laundry room and common areas . Additional facilities include private office suites and training and meeting rooms.
The DAC housekeeper position is responsible for m aintain ing sanitary, quality living conditions and conducting necessary turnover between guests .
Work Schedule is two weeks on, two weeks off . Average workday is 12 hrs. All Meals and Housing Provided. Transportation provided t o and from Anchorage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain positive relation ship with guests.
- Ensure facility cleanliness by a combination of cleaning methods, not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting.
- Changing linens, distributing towels, washing and folding laundry.
- Conducting turn over between guests and r estocking rooms and common areas with appropriate items .
- Providing residents with weekly turnover service
- Collect garbage in assigned work areas and dispose of it as directed by Supervisor to maintain sanitary space.
- Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and ensure adequate inventory for service.
- Report facility damage or unusual activities to the DAC Supervisor.
- Assist Kitchen Staff with large events.
- Assist DAC Supervisor with duties that may include:
- Minor repairs/maintenance such as changing light bulbs or cleaning lint traps
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of housekeeping experience in remote environments .
- 1 + years experience in hospitality industry .
- Must be a ble to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screening a s well a Criminal Background Check.
