Location: Airway Heights, WA (Fairchild AFB)
Schedule: Full-time, Day & Evening Shifts, Weekends
Pay: $20.77/hour + $4.93/hour Health & Welfare Benefit (cash payout available if eligible with proof of qualifying insurance)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Were looking for a motivated Food Service Worker - Lead with a helpful, team-first attitude to join our crew at Fairchild Air Force Base.

TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
Lead the food service crew as backup to the Food Service Manager
Perform general food service duties
Assist manager in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
Ensure service quality and help meet contract standards
Address and follow up on quality control inspections
Help with employee schedules and shift coverage
Assist in training, coaching, and evaluating employees
Maintain various reports: scheduling, training, attendance, timekeeping, accidents
Issue and secure keys, phones, and vehicles
Lock buildings and follow safety protocols after shifts
Support employee rehabilitation and training programs
Resolve personnel issues professionally and confidentially
Monitor staff productivity and customer interactions
Record attendance, tardiness, and track misconduct
Wash, store, and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils
Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in dining areas
Empty trash and keep trash areas clean
Sweep, mop, and vacuum entrances, exits, halls, and high-traffic areas
Handle cashiering and customer communication duties
Maintain professional appearance and attitude
Work independently and as part of a team
Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
6 months of food service experience preferred
6 months of lead/supervisory experience preferred
Scheduling and reporting experience helpful
Able to work independently and in a team setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift/move up to 40 lbs
Perform repetitive tasks (walking, kneeling, lifting) for extended periods
Climb stairs or in/out of vehicles as needed
Work under pressure for long durations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid state drivers license & insurable by Tessera
Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance
