ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for the cleaning of the non-production areas of the plant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
- Be able to work on weekends due to production demands or required Master Sanitation activities.
- Follow written master sanitation schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks in welfare areas, rest rooms and office areas (sweeping, scrubbing and mopping of floors, scrubbing of toilets and sinks, cleaning of mirrors, partitions and chrome fittings, dusting, trash collection and disposal, etc.)
- Daily refilling of all restroom & welfare area dispensers (toilet paper and paper towels).
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
- Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
- Special projects as needed for audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Less than high school education.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous janitorial or sanitation experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English and fill out paperwork completely and accurately.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
