Janitor

M&V is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our congregation and guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general cleaning and light maintenance duties throughout the church building and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas
Vacuum, mop, sweep, and buff floors
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
Set up and take down tables, chairs, and other equipment for church services and events
Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to church staff
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as scheduled
Ensure all areas are secure after cleaning if working after hours

Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, climbing ladders)

Good communication and time management skills
A positive attitude and respect for the church environment
Background check required

Schedule:
**SATURDAY ONLY**
Must be bilingual-English and Spanish
Anytime After 11:00 AM
