Coos County Family Health Services (CCFHS) is seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Office Cleaner to join our team at our Colebrook Office location. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, and is eligible for part-time benefits. Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaning Person to join our medical clinic team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, healthcare providers, and staff. The successful candidate will follow healthcare cleaning protocols to ensure all clinic areas meet infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect examination rooms, patient restrooms, staff areas, lobbies, and administrative offices.
- Sanitize frequently touched surfaces, including door handles, counters, chairs, medical equipment surfaces, staff and patient rest rooms.
- Dust all furniture, telephones, ledges, woodwork, windowsills, light fixtures and all other surfaces within reach, as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling, excluding disposal of biohazard and sharps containers.
- Refill hand soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
- Sweep and vacuum all floors, rugs and stairs in accordance with clinic hygiene standards.
- Mop all floors using hospital grade cleaning supplies.
- Clean front door glass, bathroom mirrors and all interiors of windows.
- Maintain janitorial room and supplies.
- Clean staff breakroom, refrigerator, microwave, countertops and sink.
- Follow protocols for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the COO and or the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with all clinic policies related to health, safety, and confidentiality.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced outpatient medical clinic.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, bodily fluids, and medical waste.
- Interaction with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ year of custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
- Understanding of infection control practices in medical environments.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and biohazard materials safely.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
