Buck Company, located in Quarryville, PA, is searching for a motivated, dependable, and ambitious individual to join our team as Metal Pourer on 1st shift. This position requires the operation of hand-controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate the flow of various types of molten metal into molds to produce castings.

Responsibilities:
- Will operate ladles and handheld controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into sand molds to produce castings.
- Skim slag or remove excess metal from equipment using hand tools.
- Transports molten metal from furnaces to molds.
- Accurately read temperature gauges.
- Collect samples and/or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.
COMPETENCIES:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to efficiently work within a team-based environment
- Must have the ability to comprehend instructions and accept coaching and mentoring techniques
- Must possess excellent time management skills
- Ability to safely and successfully perform job functions consistent with Buck Company safety Policy
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all team members
- Be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical capabilities test
