As a student in the Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia Poker Dealer School, you will learn games, game protection, customer service best practices, and compliance guidelines that will make it possible for you to join the company as a part-time dealer.

Upon successful completion of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia's Poker Dealer School, you will have the opportunity to apply for a part-time position in the Poker Department as a Dealer.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Attend all scheduled classes, missing no more than two (2) total
• Acquire knowledge and skill to deal various games of Poker, including but not limited to Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Stud, Draw, No Limit, Spread Limit and Pot Limit
• Monitor the monies and chips on the table at all times
• Acquire knowledge and skill to control gaming cards and equipment
• Acquire knowledge and skill to protect company assets
• Acquire knowledge and skill to analyze customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play
• Acquire knowledge and skill to provide exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor
• Acquire knowledge to calculate pot, taking appropriate rake and jackpot in accordance with company and gaming regulations
• Acquire knowledge and skill to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need to Succeed

• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate gaming license as mandated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Ability to speak English clearly, listen, and follow directions
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English. Ability to use chips, cards, and a paddle.
• Must possess good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to add monies and chips.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understand, perform, and complete basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 work environment, to include weekends and holidays.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
