Job Description - Front Desk: \n
\n
- Greets and completes standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfaction \n
- Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities \n
- Controls and records financial transactions a front desk \n
- Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone \n
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times \n
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management \n
- Contributes and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books to enhance department communications and operations \n
- Aids other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel \n
- Ensure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to management \n \n
Job Duties - Driver: \n
\n
- Escort arriving and departing guests to and from accommodations \n
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required \n
- Assist guests with luggage and other belongings \n
- Maintain safe transportation environment for all guests \n
- Operate vehicle in accordance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws \n
- Maintain shuttle cleanliness and daily safety reports \n
- Track and maintain all vehicle preventative maintenance \n
- Report any vehicle malfunctions in a timely manner \n
- Helping in housekeeping and houseman duties when there are not any driving requests \n \n
Preferred Skills: \n
\n
- Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Office \n
- Ability to type 40+wpm \n
- Able to learn new web applications \n
- Previous customer service experience preferred \n
- Strong work ethic \n
- Able to stand for extended periods of time \n
- Able to lift up-to 20 lbs. \n
- Hotel experience a plus, particularly with Hilton's Property Engagement Platform \n
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays \n ","
