CUSTODIAN

The City of Greer is accepting applications for a Custodian in the Facilities Maintenance Division of our Engineering Department.

Responsibilities: Maintains facilities in a clean and orderly condition; Maintain floors to include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, cleaning carpets, buffing, waxing, etc.; Empties trash containers and keep containers clean and sanitary; Maintains restrooms in a clean and sanitary manner; replaces soap, toilet tissue, paper towels, etc.; Maintains cleanliness of walls, windows and furniture by washing, dusting, waxing or buffing; Assists in other areas as needed to complete custodial, maintenance or landscaping duties.

Job Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with experience in custodial or maintenance duties or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must have a valid state issued driver's license.

Salary: Minimum salary $38,675; dependent on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM; additional hours as scheduled.
