We are a boutique law firm based in Boca Raton primarily focusing on commercial real estate litigation, transactions, and leasing for commercial landlords and property managers across the State of Florida. We value professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic. We're currently seeking a reliable, confident Legal Secretary who is ready to step in, support our team, and make a meaningful impact.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, works well under pressure, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every task. No job is too big or too small we want someone who's willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed. A team-first mentality is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and office managerDraft, proofread, and manage legal notices and correspondenceManage calendars and deadlines, schedule meetings, and coordinate court hearingsMaintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up and deadline complianceAssist office manager with attorney time entries, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivableAnswer and direct phone calls; communicate effectively with clients and attorneysStep in to help the team in various office functions, as neededAssist and support real estate transactions and closings, as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar administrative role (3+ years of job experience)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationProficient in Microsoft Office and legal time management and billing softwareAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProfessional demeanor and proactive attitudeLitigation support experience a plusReal estate transaction and closing experience a plus
