Job Description

JSG is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker for one of our clients in San Jose. This is a 6 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

In the presence of lead staff, assist in trash and debris removal and encampment abatement

Transport material in a Class C vehicle

Follow District protocols for the identification and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Maintain accurate paper and electronic documentation of daily work performed.

Learn to read and interpret maps and follow detailed work instructions.

Support field crews with site cleanup and related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Operational characteristics of maintenance, hand and power equipment, and tools.

Occupational hazards and standard safety practices.

Methods and techniques of construction maintenance.

Requirements:

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Two (2) years of construction or field maintenance experience.

A satisfactory driving record and a valid California Class C Driver's License.

Rate: $32.43 /hr. full-time, 6 months contract
