Housekeeper compensation: 25-30 per hour employment type: job title: Housekeeper Location: Richmond Rai Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 10am to 2pm Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of a private residence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily housekeeping duties, laundry, meal prep, organizing and occasional errands. Discretion, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning of all rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces - Deep clean kitchens and bathrooms on a regular schedule - Laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens - Make beds, change linens, and maintain overall bedroom cleanliness - Organize and maintain closets, cabinets, and storage areas - Restock household supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and pantry items - Water indoor plants and assist with basic household maintenance - Handle delicate materials and surfaces with care - Run errands as needed (e.g., grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning) - Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs - Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules - Maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of the household - Prep Weekly Meals and Snacks - Feed household animals and clean animal areas. Qualifications: Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private home or similar environment Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and a proactive attitude Good organizational and time management skills Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings if needed Valid driver's license (preferred or required, depending on the role) Strong references required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience [Optional: Health insurance, paid time off, holidays, room & board if live-in] Principals only.
