A Brief Overview Responsible for keeping buildings or assigned work areas clean and orderly with access to a supervisor as needed. May include work at multiple company locations. What would you do in this position? Collect and dispose of trash Dust, clean, and disinfect various surfaces Clean and service restrooms Clean glass surfaces and mirrors Identify and report cleaning needs Restock supplies and report inventory needs Move, arrange, and clean furniture Disinfect and wash cleaning materials Sweep, mop, wax, and seal hard flooring Vacuum, steam, and shampoo carpet Monitor building safety by locking doors and ensuring no safety hazards exist Mix various cleaning solutions Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records as assigned What education or experience would you need? High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Valid Drivers License or State ID preferred One year or more janitorial experience preferred What knowledge, skills, or abilities would you need?
