Laundry Attendant

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and to push heavy laundry carts- Time efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment- Laundry experience preferred, but not requiredDUTIES INCLUDE:- Washing, drying and folding all linens according to company standards- Sort items by color and fabric type to ensure they are laundered in the correct machine cycle- Follow guidelines for treating and removing stains when required- Keep track of laundry chemicals and advise Executive Housekeeper and/or General Manager when products need to be ordered- Advise Executive Housekeeper and/or General Manager when linen supplies need to be replenished- Clean dryer lint screens on a daily basis- Ensure all laundry is completed by end of day- Wipe down machines and counters daily- Advise Maintenance if washers and/or dryers require maintenance attention- Sweep and mop laundry room floor daily or as neededCan work either full-time or part-time hours, and may include working weekends.Pay is $15.00 an hour and up depending on experience.
