Janitor Job Description The janitor will assist machine operators in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the work area. Duties include bundling steel from production lines, organizing spaces, and ensuring a debris-free environment. The role requires flexibility in task management, supporting other employees, and maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors, walls, and other surfaces. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restock supplies like soap and paper towels. Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling. Performing basic maintenance tasks, like changing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks. Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment. Ensuring the building is locked after hours, reporting safety hazards, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Restocking cleaning supplies and ordering as needed. Why Work Here?
