Job Summary
Responsible for preparation, assembly, and on-time delivery of catering orders across the Denver Health Campus. Assist with VIP table service, including set up of table with place settings, serve ware, glasses, napkins etc. General cleaning and stocking as assigned. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines. Complies with regulatory agency requirements.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and assemble internal and external customer catering orders to standard recipes and special instruction per the customer. (50%)
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation. Completes all cleaning duties per the master cleaning schedule or as assigned.
(30%)
Deliver, set up, and serve all caterings as appropriate by the requested time. (10%)
Assists cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items (10%)
Education:
No High School Diploma and/or No GED required
Work Experience:

Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of food preparation techniques
Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment.
Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used to clean surface areas sufficient to be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Skill in understanding and following oral, illustrated, written or demonstrated instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively
