Job SummaryThe Suites Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role ensures compliance with all alcohol service regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all state, federal, and company regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, including laws related to serving minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bar areas, including stocking beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, paper goods, glassware, ice, and condiments.
Prepare, cure, and store all perishable items such as garnishes and juices to ensure freshness and product quality.
Greet guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive bar experience.
Take and process drink orders efficiently; mix, garnish, and serve beverages using standard recipes and portion control practices.
Verify guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption to prevent over-service; respond to signs of intoxication as trained.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately; process charges, make change, and ensure proper execution of vouchers and receipts.
Secure all product and equipment at the end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area; wash and sterilize glassware, and ensure displays remain organized and visually appealing.
Perform routine cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Previous bartending experience preferred.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Reliable transportation required.
Must be flexible with work hours, including evenings and weekends based on event needs.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
Available to work all CU Football games and Concerts at Folsom Field
