About the location:

Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lanai, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lanai, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lanai, a kids club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.

FINE DINING SERVER

The Four Seasons Resort Lanai is looking for a Fine Dining Server who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Ou r teams h ave the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization is required .

WHAT YOULL DO

• Greet our guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a refined and welcoming atmosphere maintaining Forbes Five Star Standards.

• Recognize frequent guests and personalize service based on their preferences

• Present menus, describe dishes with detail and enthusiasm, and make thoughtful recommendations.

• Take guest orders with accuracy and grace, using proper etiquette and anticipating guest preferences.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and flawless delivery of all food and beverages.

• Provide wine and cocktail service in coordination with sommeliers and bartenders, including proper wine presentation and pouring.

• Maintain a meticulous knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparations, allergens, and origin stories.

• Execute tableside service techniques (e.g., crumbing, decanting, pouring, finishing touches ) with polish and discretion.

• Monitor table activity, clearing and resetting with minimal disruption, and providing continuous care without being intrusive.

• Manage multiple tables while maintaining the highest levels of composure and tactical precision.

• Uphold cleanliness and organization of service stations, side work, and guest areas.

• Handle guest concerns or special requests with diplomacy and urgency, elevating to management as needed.

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts .

• Weekend and Holiday availability required .

• Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.

• Strong Customer Service skills .
