We are looking to hire a few different positions for our catering company located in nampa Idaho!
About Us:
At Horsewood Catering, we believe food is loveand that philosophy extends to our entire team. Were looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher & Prep Cook to join our back-of-house crew and help keep our kitchen running smoothly for weddings, private events, and everything in between.
Prep Cook Job Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and components of dishes according to event menus (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating meats, making sauces).
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients for upcoming events.
Assist chefs in executing food prep for large-scale catering events (e.g., weddings, corporate gatherings).
Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas and comply with food safety standards.
Label, date, and store food properly following FIFO procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., slicers, mixers, ovens).
Support packing and organizing food for off-site events.
Assist in loading/unloading event materials and equipment as needed.
Communicate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations before and during events.
Follow company protocols and uphold Horsewood Caterings commitment to quality and presentation.
Dishwasher Job Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, prep tools, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area, kitchen floors, and trash areas.
Help with setup and breakdown of dish stations before and after events.
Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed (e.g., emptying trash, mopping, restocking supplies).
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Support the prep and culinary team with light duties when needed.
Properly store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas.
Report any equipment issues to the Kitchen Manager or Chef
Pay will be determined on experience and we do not require experience in the industry but it is helpful. Please text or email to set up an interview.
