Rumfish Y Vino, a high-volume restaurant with a full bar located in the heart of Downtown Ventura, is now hiring experienced bussers and runners to join our energetic and fast-paced team. Rumfish Y Vino features Central American cuisine + gastro-bar located in beautiful Downtown Ventura. This is our second location, expanding from our original restaurant in Belize. We offer spectacular outdoor dining, a vibrant kitchen, and a well-established reputation in the community. Our restaurant is best known for its innovative cocktail and wine program, as well as a bold, collaborative menu developed over 12+ years by owners John & Pam and our chef from Belize. Were a hands-on, creative team that values quality, originality, and a strong team culture.
Were looking for hard-working, reliable team players who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for hospitality.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 1 year of experience in food and beverage ideally in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
-Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and team-player attitude.
-Comfortable working on your feet and handling multiple tasks.
-Professional, reliable, and punctual.
-Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Food Runner:
-Deliver food efficiently and accurately from the kitchen to tables.
-Maintain communication between kitchen and service staff.
-Ensure food presentation and timing meet our standards.
-Assist servers and team as needed.
Busser:
-Clear and reset tables quickly and cleanly.
-Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area and service stations.
-Support servers with restocking and general duties.
-Help maintain a smooth guest experience.
