Janitor/Cleaner needed at Adult Medical Day Care

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Assist with commercial cleaning projects, including buffing and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Carry out custodial duties in various settings such as offices, schools, or residential buildings.
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Requirements
Previous experience in janitorial services or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning best practices is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies used in custodial work.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
