Our client, a leading seafood harvesting and processing company, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the operations team supporting the maintenance of essential machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Location: Bellingham, WA

Pay Range: $30.00/DOE per hour

What's the Job?

  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and install special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Lubricate and clean parts, equipment, and machinery while following food safety policies and industry best practices.

What's Needed?

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Production Maintenance.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and food processing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems, conveyors, and production machines.
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
