About The Role:

At Tacos 1986, making our guests feel welcomed is our priority. Good hospitality and excellent ingredients is what keeps our guests coming back.

Shift Leads at Tacos 1986 will be trained to execute the menu at a fast-paced ticket system while cooking & taking care of our guests. We put a lot of pride in our ingredients, we respect the way we make our Tacos from the specific region of Tijuana, it is very important for all Shift Leads to understand the flavor we strive to achieve every day and the hospitality that we put forward.

What Youll Do:

  • Youll assist the restaurant manager in executing customer facing store operations during your shift.
  • You will lead by example and uphold restaurant and Department of Health policies.
  • Be cross trained on all the different stations of Tacos 1986.
  • Be an ambassador for the culture and strive to make the best guest experience possible to create repeat business.
  • Supervise restaurant operation, including adherence to health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and foster a positive, professional work environment
  • Welcome customers with a great first impression.

What we are looking for:

  • 2 years of FOH / BOH experience with the willingness to learn
  • Excellent knife skills

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00) plus tips
