Job DetailsMajor Food Group is hiring Servers to join our team at Carbone Vino in the Dallas Design District!
Carbone Vino , located just across the courtyard from Carbone, is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrees like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared your way, and fresh gelato served table-side.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Experience working in fine dining restaurants is preferred.
- You must possess a positive and teamwork oriented attitude.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills a must
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
