(7 hours / days for 5 days / week)

Description:

RSU 73 seeks a dependable and motivated individual to join our school cafeteria team as a food service worker. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing and serving meals to students and staff, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, as well as providing friendly customer service. Candidates will also be required to help with inventory and stocking supplies. This position is a school-year position with daytime hours.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team with good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Must take and pass a State Sanitation and Food Safety Managers course within one year of employment
• Obtain criminal history records check through the Maine Department of Education
