Overview
- Performing any task necessary to ensure a high quality customer experience
- Ready to work in a fast paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests
- Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
- Consistently keep the kitchen organized and clean
- Needs to know dining room table numbers and positions
- Set up kitchen work station to assist Chef on expediting of the food off the line
- Deliver and serve food entrees to the guest
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Have knowledge of and understand the food menus
- Knows FORBES standards
- Complete requisition for daily ordering of supplies
- Be able to take instruction from the Chef working the line
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, set up for the next shift
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests` service needs
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Perform related duties as required
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
- Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Company policy
- Be courteous to all guests and coworkers
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
- Must be able to speak and comprehend English
- Must have valid Food Handlers Card
- Must have basic knowledge of food terminology
- Must be able to lift and hold a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Ability to implement and uphold service standards
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Experience, Education, & Licensure:
- At least 2 years of experience in fine dining
- High School diploma preferred
- Have at least 2 years of experience in bartending, in addition to knowledge of French/Italian/Californian cuisine preferred
- Hotel experience preferred
- Available to work Weekends and Holidays
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $16.50
