We operate 19 branch locations and 14 showrooms throughout Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Function : The Receptionist has a passion to provide excellent customer service. Individual must be high energy, polished, and poised with outstanding communication, people skills, and have a great attitude. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering questions from callers, directing callers to the correct person, greeting customers, and referring them to the proper person to handle their requests. The Receptionist will professionally and pleasantly interact with a variety of customers and employees and will strive to ensure that all callers and all customers are treated in the same professional and pleasant manner. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the showroom, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Expeditiously receives all incoming telephone calls and directs the caller to the appropriate person.
- Accurately enter customer information, track leads, and update records in Salesforce CRM.
- Performs administrative work to support the Showroom Sales department.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization, including merchandising displays and marketing materials.
- Acts in a manner that inspires the department and all employees to have a cheerful and cooperative attitude.
- Reviews all material related to PDI to learn more about the company, which will enable the receptionist to better help the customer.
- Keeps the manager apprised of the phone system and whether it is working properly.
- Maintains knowledge of and becomes proficient with all office equipment
- Schedules appointments for consultants and maintains a daily calendar.
- Assists in maintaining showroom literature for customers and current price books for showroom staff.
- Maintains registration log of showroom customers and in/out log of employees.
- Keeps the reception area clean at all times.
- Maintains a cooperative spirit with a positive attitude and helps keep the team relationship among all PDI personnel.
- Assists PDI staff as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Candidate must have good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
- Job requires 8-10 hours of sitting with scheduled breaks
- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check
