Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Maintenance Worker to deliver the best possible service promoting LRH's Facility Department and LRH.
SUMMARY:
Performs floor care duties along with other cleaning tasks throughout the main campus of Lakes Regional Healthcare and the Milford location that promote a safe and sanitary environment. Responsibilities include general preventative and reactive maintenance duties such as inspecting and repairing equipment, the facility and its systems. Maintains hardwood floors including daily disinfection as well as routine waxing; maintains carpeted areas including daily care as well as routing extraction and cleaning. Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and other duties as assigned. Security duties include securing and opening the facility on a daily basis and responding to Security concerns. During a snow event, the candidate will be responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and facility exits using a tractor and shovel.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Floor care experience helpful. Must be able to operate small yard equipment effectively. Driver's License required. Wall repair and painting experience is required. Must have experience in taping, rolling, brushing and cutting edges, minor sheetrock installation, taping, mudding and texturing experience also preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE &/OR REGISTRATIONS:
Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certification or completion within the first 6 months of employment.
