Volt is immediately hiring for an Equipment Maintenance Technician II in Richardson, TX working in a semiconductor fabrication area.
- Shift: 12 hour Dayshift: 6a – 6pm. Every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday
- Direct hire
- Daily OT pay after 8 hours.
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician II you will:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor fabrication equipment supporting Metrology and Probe equipment .
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs
- Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures
- Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects
- Clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings
- Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts
This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or equivalent military electronics training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred of troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated project management skills (tool upgrades, installation, decommissioning, development), problem solving ability and knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment
- Able to interpret electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Preferred equipment but not required: Experience with Applied Materials MIRRA, MEI/RENA Revolution & Evolution Toolsets, Superior Automation SA2000 & SA5000, Ontrak Scrubber DSS-200, SSEC/Veeco M3301 & M3303, Strausbaugh / Revasum 7AFHMG, DISCO Surface Planer, ASMPT Laser Dicer, DISCO Dicing Saw, SCREEN SU2000, Batch Spray Solvent & Batch Spray Acid Tools.
Salary: $26-32/hr + daily OT pay after 8 hours (approx. $62,700 - $77,100/year)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
