Now Hiring: Floor Manager in Training

Were looking for a Floor Manager in Training to join our team and grow into a full leadership role. This is a great opportunity for someone who has restaurant experience and is ready to take the next step into management. You'll learn from an experienced management team while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of front- and back-of-house operations.

The Role:

Managers at Joy are trained in both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to build a well-rounded understanding of service and team support. Youll play a key leadership role in daily operations, helping to ensure smooth service, a positive workplace culture, and a consistently welcoming experience for our guests.

Were Looking for Someone Who:

Leads by example with professionalism, consistency, and humility

Has experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Brings a team-first mindset and strong communication skills

Is passionate about hospitality and community

Embraces cross-training in both FOH and BOH responsibilities

Has a flexible schedule and is available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Is physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on their feet for extended periods

Approaches challenges calmly and with a solutions-oriented mindset

What You'll Do:

Receive training in both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations

Learn how to lead shifts, manage service flow, and support the team on the floor

Support daily operations while being mentored in team supervision and service standards

Build strong communication skills and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Assist with opening and closing procedures, guest interaction, and conflict resolution

Step into more responsibilities over time as you grow into the role
