Janitor

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team! This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and meeting areas

Sweep, mop, and vacuum tile, concrete, and carpeted floors

Dust furniture and fixtures

Restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies

Empty trash and shredders across all areas, including production

Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and faucets

Maintain cleanliness of main entrances, employee entrance, and storage areas

Clean and disinfect water/coffee machines and kitchen counters

Prepare and maintain coolers and sports drinks in hot conditions

Handle minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs

Occasionally clean up body fluid spills using proper safety protocols

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Previous custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety protocols

Ability to read and follow safety labels and written instructions

Good time management and ability to work independently

Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment

Comfortable working in an industrial setting with required PPE

Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative

Ability to recognize and report maintenance or safety issues

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Ability to read and follow safety instructions and labels

Self-starter with time management skills

Reliable and safety-conscious with solid attendance

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in a fast-paced industrial setting

Willing to wear PPE including safety shoes, hearing/eye/hand protection
