Live-in housekeeper/cook needed

An 89 year old widower and homeowner living in Newport, Oregon, needs a full-time live-in housekeeper/cook. Homeowner is mobile, alert, and doesn't need help with personal hygiene or medical issues.

Duties:
The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning the house. They will also be responsible for meal planning, preparation, and cooking of 3 meals per day. They will shop for groceries needed for the household. They will run errands for the homeowner and drive him to church and appointments as needed.

Qualities Desired:
-Good cooking skills
-Reliable and peaceful
-Good housekeeping skills
-Good driving skills
-Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive
-Must pass a criminal background check

No smoking, vaping, drugs, pets, or roommates

Compensation:
The housekeeper will be provided room and board and utilities, and will be paid a monthly salary to be negotiated. The housekeeper will have one day off per week.

Interviews will occur after June 24, with the position starting soon after that.
