Job Description


Valet Parking Attendant - to work in the Syracuse, NY area. We are looking for a FT employee with day time availability from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. The position also will require covering 1pm-9pm shifts as needed.

Applicants must also be able to cover shifts as needed at Turning Stone and/or Oswego Health as needed.

The pay rate is $19.50/hour. This is a NON-Tipping role.

Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management (some training is available)

Have your own transportation (driving experience)

Have experience working in customer service

Must have a good driving record

Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Both written and verbal communication.

Duties and responsibilities

To maintain a professional image for our client establishment

To assist any and all patrons in any way we can

To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times

To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service

To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job

Physical Demands

Standing for the duration of your shift

Running/Jogging to retrieve cars up to 20 times a day or more

Entering and exiting customers' vehicles 6- or more times daily

Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles)

Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employee's work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
