In-Room Dining Servers are responsible for presenting guest food and beverage preferences timely and to temperature to the guest in the comfort of the guest's room. Servers engage in casual conversation and enhance the experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general in-room dining preparation, removal of serving trays, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
This server will also support the Grand Club when needed based on business levels. Grand Clubs at Hyatt are exclusive, private lounges that cater to VIPs and our most loyal guests. These clubs off a variety of food & beverage services as well as current periodical and the latest in media options and technology. In addition to refreshing the lounge, assisting with food & beverage setup and service, when working a Grand Club Concierge, you will be responsible for answering questions and making reservations or recommendations.
The hourly rate for the primary position of In-Room Dining Server ranges from $20.50/hour to $26.25/hour. The starting rate is $20.50/hour. For those servers who have been in their roles for four years or more with Hyatt, they are currently offered $20.91/hour. When scheduled to work in the secondary position of a Grand Club Concierge, the hourly rate begins at $26.25/hour.
This position earns additional compensation through automatic service charges on the guest's orders when working in In-Room Dining, and gratuities given at the guest's discretion.
