Grounds Maintenance Porter

The Grounds Maintenance Porter is responsible for exterior trash collection, courtyard maintenance, and general grounds maintenance throughout the hotel property. This person must have the ability to lift moderate to heavy weight and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

• Daily swimming pool testing and maintenance
• Daily exterior trashcan pick up
• Daily grounds blowing, stick pick up, limb pick up, lose trash pick-up, etc.
• Exterior furniture organization and clean up
• Minor pruning
• Pressure washing
• Minor painting
• Fountain maintenance
• Assist with parking

Other requirements:

• Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, and muddy environments
• Must be able to walk most of the shift
• Must be able to wear back pack blower most of the shift
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50lbs
• Must enjoy working independently
• Must be able to use work order app and communication app on smart phone
• Must have a friendly guest service attitude towards guests and co-workers

Pay is commensurate with experience.
