Groundskeeper - Family of Companies

The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking an individual that has a passion for working outside & pride themselves on their work and strives to maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment. The groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance of outdoor areas such as lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers and turf.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers & chainsaws
• Perform basic repairs and landscaping tasks such as fertilizing, mulching, planting, pruning and irrigation
• Prepare outdoor areas for various types of weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture, tying down unsecured items etc.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday 7am-4pm

Skills & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience is preferred not required
• Knowledge of gardening techniques
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment & tools
• Able to lift 20-30 pounds
