DEFINITION: Under supervision of a Facilities Manager or site administrator, does general grounds maintenance and skilled gardening work planting, cultivating and maintaining lawns, plants, and shrubs; landscape grounds and gardens, maintain and set up or lay out athletic fields; and other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: One to two years in gardening, general ground maintenance. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of: Basic gardening methods and use of tools and materials used in gardening and groundskeeping. Ability to: Follow oral and written instructions; perform general gardening work; perform heavy manual labor. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with students and staff.
