Summary: This job is responsible for receiving and dispersing money in retail locations. It will include ordering change, totaling customer food purchases, collecting funds, issuing receipts and balancing the cash drawer on a daily basis and for providing positive customer service during each interaction with customers. Responsibilities: * Enter cost of customer food items into cash register, apply employee discounts as appropriate, total customer purchase, receive payment and make change. * Balance the cash drawer on a daily basis and complete any related paperwork. * Maintain cleanliness and neatness of cashier area and serving area; assist others in keeping dining room tables clean. * Line server duties as needed * Maintain cleanliness and neatness of storerooms. * Restock areas as appropriate throughout the day * Places proper signage in retail outlets as needed. * Maintain a clean, well stocked, and orderly retail server area at all times. * Shows sense of urgency to reduce customer wait times. WORK EXPERIENCE * At least 1 year previous experience cashiering Required EDUCATION * High school diploma or GED Required LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS * Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter.
