[Click here to view the full jobposting]("_blank"rel="noopener noreferrer"} JOB TITLE: Housekeeping Attendant LOCATION:TOURISTS Hotel EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt REPORTS DIRECTLYTO: Housekeeping Manager; collaborates with Front Desk Agents andMaintenance Technicians; Indirectly reports to Hotel Manager/GM PAYRATE: \$15-\$16 per hour JOB SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Attendant is anintegral member of the service team working on day-to-day operations.TOURISTS\' goal in all positions is to exceed expectations of ourguests. The Housekeeping staff contributes to that experience byproviding service that includes, but is not limited to, the cleaning,restocking and general upkeep of the guest rooms, common areas andoffices along with the laundry program. TOURISTS staff are expected togreet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important byproviding a genuine welcome. The Housekeeping staff will maintain thecompany\'s culture, values and reputation in the public eye, and withall staff, guests, vendors and partners. Based upon fluctuating demandsof the operation and to exceed guest expectations, it may be necessaryto perform a multitude of different functions not specifically relatedto this position. The Housekeeping Attendants are expected to performother tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Furthermore, employeeresponsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review andrevision. RESPONSIBILITIES: HOUSEKEEPING OPERATIONS: -Maintainaccountability for Housekeeping procedures, including cleaning,inventory/restocking, and laundry -Maintain Inventory Tracking systemfor all Housekeeping Items (linens, room amenities, cleaning supplies)incorporating cohesive damage product tracking -Update and maintain allHousekeeping logs and checklists -Monitor guest rooms, laundry room andother guest areas for maintenance needs and communicate with MaintenanceStaff on work orders -Monitor guest rooms for in-room service items andcoordinate with the Food & Beverage & Front Desk staff for retrievalservice -Communicate timely and effectively with Front Desk on guestroom status and other guest needs QUALITY STANDARDS AND IMPROVEMENTS:-Comply with departmental objectives, policies and Standard OperatingProcedures -Ensure your training is complete and sets you up to executeon established processes/procedures -Adhere to work schedule and providetimely notification regarding late arrivals -Incorporate guest namerecognition at all times -Resolve and/or escalate guest complaintsregarding property operations SAFETY AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: -Complywith health, Safety and fire regulations -Ensure timely reporting of allsafety infractions and injury incidents -Maintain a high level ofcleanliness and safety in the work area -Ensure that all equipment ismaintained in good, safe working condition -Maintain an increasedawareness of safety issues throughout the property -Comply with safetyand emergency procedures and OSHA requirements and execute on thesestandards EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: -High School diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) -Certificates, licenses, and/or identificationcards as required by the U.S. Department of Justice to verify employmenteligibility -Minimum of one (1) year housekeeping experience or relatedexperience. Hotel experience is preferred TOURISTS is an EEOC Employer.
