Upscale Server (Tracy) compensation: $17- $25 per hour based on experience employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Server We are looking for personable, passionate, and well rounded servers for an upscale dining experience. Customer service and guest experience is of the upmost importance to our establishment. You must be friendly, polite, courteous and helpful. Be able to work in a demanding and fast paced environment, be a good communicator and team member, and be willing to learn and grow! Upscale servers perform a variety of duties, including: Greeting and seating: Welcome guests and seat them at their tables Taking orders: Take food and drink orders from guests and enter them into the point-of-sale system Serving food and drinks: Deliver food and drinks to guests from the kitchen and bar Answering questions: Answer questions about the menu, specials, wine list, and other restaurant functions Making recommendations: Make recommendations for food and drinks that you think guests will enjoy Communicating with the kitchen: Communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, wait times, and special requests Checking in with guests: Check in with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their food and drinks Maintaining cleanliness: Keep work areas, china, and glass clean Completing closing duties: Complete closing duties, such as restocking items and turning off lights Presenting the check: Present the check to the guest and process payment Assisting other servers: Assist other servers when needed Clearing and resetting tables: Clear and reset tables for the next service Thanking guests: Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return Hours: May work evenings, weekends, holidays, and will need to be flexible with hours!
