Kitchen Assistant

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER AND PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.**The Michigan Out-of-Doors Youth Camp is seeking a kitchen assistant for the 2025 season. Reports to the Kitchen Manager and must work with all staff to meet nutritional needs. Responsibilities include table setting, meal preparation, dish-washing and various tasks delegated by the kitchen manager and camp director. Must also be available to manage our camp store for one hour each day. Basic math and customer service skills required. Must be physically capable of performing daily camp tasks and traversing our 250-acre facility. Experience in food service preferred.The Kitchen Assistant must be 16 years of age or older, pass a background check, possess experience working with children and must be First Aid/CPR certified.This is a nine-week position beginning June 9th, 2025.Housing and meals are provided.Pay range is $500 - $560 per week with a $200 signing bonus and an $800 completion bonus. **Head to our website for more information: www.mucccamp.org**
