Dakota Alpha, a 20-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mandan that specializes and serves individuals with a traumatic brain injury, resulting in both physical and cognitive disabilities. Dakota Alpha is the only skilled nursing facility in North Dakota specializing in providing rehabilitation services for individuals with a brain injury.

Dakota Alpha is seeking dependable, dedicated, passionate Housekeeping staff to help maintain a clean and safe facility for the residents.

Housekeeping responsibilities:

The person in this position is responsible for cleaning the Dakota Alpha building and maintaining a sanitary, clean, neat and orderly environment. Responsibilities of this position also include washing and repairing facility laundry. Occasionally, sewing repairs to adaptive equipment is performed.

The role involves comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing duties across various facility areas, including rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces. Responsibilities include sweeping, scrubbing, buffing, and assisting with annual floor stripping, as well as cleaning carpets, furniture, draperies, windows, walls, and ceilings. The position ensures proper waste disposal, replenishes supplies, replaces light bulbs, and uses appropriate chemicals and methods to meet industry standards. Laundry tasks include washing facility linens at sanitary temperatures, occasionally helping residents with personal laundry, and maintaining laundry equipment and supply inventories. Additional duties involve adhering to confidentiality policies, following safety and sanitation procedures, participating in ongoing training, tending to flower plots, applying de-icer when needed, and maintaining positive interdepartmental relationships.
