Full-Time Housekeeper Wanted

We are seeking a long-term, full-time Housekeeper who is proactive, flexible, positive, and high-energy to support the daily operations of a private household. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things clean and organized, works well independently, and values consistency and care in everything they do.

You will work alongside with a support team (including gardener and pool maintenance crew) and focus on daily tidiness, upkeep, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Daily Upkeep

* Kitchen cleanup after meals, dishwashing
* Laundry and ironing for the entire family
* Bed making and linen care
* General tidying, vacuuming, light cleaning
* Maintain cleanliness and order in shared living areas

Organization

* Keep closets, pantries, cabinets, and storage areas well-organized
* Maintain household systems for order and efficiency
* Support seasonal reorganization and decluttering as needed

Other Responsibilities

* Light meal preparation
* Running errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, etc.)
* Car washing and light vehicle upkeep
* Sweeping patios, light outdoor upkeep
* Monitoring household supplies and notifying the employer when restocking is needed
* Handle small-scale entertaining (dinners for 816 guests occasionally)
* Perform other related household duties as required.

Work Schedule:

* Full-time: 40 hours/week, typically spread across 4 days/week
* Must be flexible for occasional weekends and holidays
* Full-time position begins August 15, 2025
* Option to start part-time immediately, if available

Interview Process:

Qualified candidates will be invited to complete a **3-hour paid trial** to demonstrate skills, work ethic, and fit for the household.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in a private household or hospitality setting
* Experience handling high-end furnishings, materials, and garments
* Must have own reliable vehicle and a clean DMV record
* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
* Able to speak and understand basic English
* Must be a non-smoker
* Must provide at least two professional references
* High level of confidentiality and discretion required
* Background check required
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of discretion and professionalism
