Rosticceria Evelina, a lively and well-loved Italian restaurant in Fort Greene, is seeking a professional, hospitality-focused Server to join our front-of-house team. We're looking for someone who brings warmth, efficiency, and a deep knowledge of food and wine to the guest experience.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal applicant is polished, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. We're looking for someone with a passion for Italian cuisine and a strong foundation in wine service
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a busy, upscale or fast-paced restaurant
Solid knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team-driven, collaborative environment
Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends
Familiarity with POS systems (ideally Toast) and basic wine service standards
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Responsibilities:
Provide warm, attentive service to all guests
Guide guests through the menu and provide knowledgeable food and wine recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service
Uphold the restaurants high standards of hospitality and professionalism
