Cook (Starting at $17/hour!) Job Description The primary purpose of this role is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. You will perform other duties as directed by representatives of the community, following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies while maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures. Responsibilities Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications. Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations. Follow directions from the Food Service Director and community representatives. Maintain health, sanitary, and infection control standards. Essential Skills Experience in foodservice, food preparation, and production. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation fundamentals. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
